Working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, I focus on tailoring programs to meet their specific needs and goals.

I grew up as a competitive gymnast and developed a love for movement at an early age. Dealing with many injuries over the years, I turned to pilates and yoga to help heal my body.

With a background in resistance training, pilates and yoga I pride myself on keeping my sessions as unique as each individual I work with.

I believe in empowerment. Transformation. Love. Magic and the Divine. Playfullness. Stepping into your fullest potential and living the life you're meant to live. Vulnerability. Stoking your inner fire. I believe in yoga, the Chakras, meditation, creativity and deep soul flowing. I believe that yoga is for everyone.

As a child, my mother had tried me in a few different activities, like figure skating, to see what I would like and enjoy. Turns out that figure skating was NOT my thing…ha! She did however notice that I would dance in front of our closet mirrors to Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Paula Abdul all the time and so then thought that dance might be the way to go. Well she was right!! Dancing was my life! I ate, breathed and slept dance. But when I decided to leave it and move on to others avenues and “big girl” adventures I was feeling empty and lost. Because I had been so physically active for so many years and was very competitive I found myself diving all in to gyms, weight training and participating in all fitness and aerobic classes that my gym had to offer. But still something was missing. I searched for many years for what I was passionate about other than dance and always came up with nothing.
Move ahead many moons later to when I met my other half. He kept asking me to go with him to yoga, but not just any yoga, HOT yoga!! I thought he was crazy!! Not just because he was doing something as boring as yoga, but to also be to be doing it in a room that was hot. Who wants to sweat THAT much? I love a good workout and would often gauge how good of a workout I had by how much I sweat but to work out in the heat? Heck no!! Finally, in more of a “ok, I’ll come just to keep you quiet” kind of way I made my way to my first hot yoga class. I panicked a little when I felt the heat and could feel my heart beating just laying on my mat. I’m not going to lie, I was a little worried. But as the class started and I practiced, I fell in love. It was challenging, powerful and liberating. It wasn’t boring at all!! And the heat? Bring. It. On!! At the end of class my heart smiled. From then on I became a yoga junkie. I was hooked to the practice, the heat and the amazing people that are in the yoga community. I was feeling more and more alive the more I practiced. That’s when I knew that I found what was missing and I found my passion.
Yoga has made a very profound impact on my life. More than I ever thought possible. I have grown and will continue to grow into the best possible me. I have learned so much about my body, my mind and my spirit all by practicing on and off my mat. I have been inspired by many teachers and fellow students and so decided that I too wanted to inspire so the next step for me in my yoga path was to teach. I want to bring what yoga has done for me and is continuing to do for me to everyone that I have the privilege to meet. I love connecting with people and teaching allows me to connect with my students on a physical, mental and emotional level. Yoga has set me free and lights me up! So, my mission is to get others to see the light in themselves and to know that there are no limits or boundaries to what they can and will accomplish in life.

I am a yoga teacher and freelance writer with a passion for making change in the world around me, one yoga student at a time! When I'm not encouraging my students to stretch their minds and bodies on their mats, I'm writing about ways to find peace and happiness in this life. Before I started teaching yoga, I was a TV news reporter, whose daily task was to get 'the scoop' on the latest breaking news. It was fast-paced, challenging and rewarding but, as I uncovered, it wasn't my true purpose in life. It took some courage and faith to change my path, but I'm happier than I've ever been-- living in authenticity and freedom! Now, I've made it my life's mission to challenge others to step up to their personal greatness and do what they love with their lives. Take one of my transformative classes to sweat out the old and breathe in the new!

Like all styles of yoga, Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits. This class is designed to bring balance to your body and your mind.
