Join Devon, our certified Pilates and Yoga instructor and Osteopathic student trained in Myofascial release (MFR), as she leads you in a Deep Stretch and Release class. This class will focus on lengthening muscles, releasing the tension in the connective fascial tissue, and relaxing the mind. This class is accessible to everyone and aims to improve the functional properties of the connective tissues in the body.
Focus will be on alignment and longer holds to ensure everyone feels the effects of the postures and movements. Therapy balls will be used to work through muscles for targeted self-massage, and through the use of props modifications can be accommodated so that every body is able to find deep relaxation.
